   SERA A VERUDELA

Co' el sol se tocia
in mar
a Punta Verudela
e al'orizonte sbrissa
una vela bianca,
in alto, sora i pini,
pigra passa
la caressa del vento

Sona alora un'orchestra
de strani strumenti:
taca i grili
le graje rispondi,
canta l'aqua che sbati
su i sassi
con sento rumori
che nassi
che mori
rinassi più forti de prima
e de novo i mori in sordina
sul stanco bordesar
de vece batanele

Su i pini, le grote
e le grespe del'onda
passa legero un brivido
che par voler fermar el tempo

Tuto dura un momento
po' cala l'ombra
e l'aria vien violeta
in un colpo de man
e se impissa una lanterna.

Lontan.

EVENING IN VERUDELA

When the sun sets in the sea
at Verudela Point
and across the horizon a white sail sluices up over the pines, lazy,
     the caress of wind passes.
Then an orchestra of
strange instruments plays.
The cricket resound,
the bushes re-echo,
the water sings by
striking the rocks
with choir of noises
that are born,
that die,
to be born again
stronger than ever,
then die again mute
under the weary tacking
of the old dinghy

Above the pines, the grottoes
and the crests of waves
a slight shudder passes
as if it wants to stop time...

All lasts an instant,
then the shadow drop
and suddendly the air
goes violet, lit
like a far-off lantern.

Ester Barlessi, LA CAMICIA, trad in lingua inglese A. Panciroli THE SHIRT

LA CAMICIA

Io sono vecchia
e giovane
ed ho confusi
oggi e ieri
riso e pianto
sul dorso delle mani
macchiate dagli anni
e porto una camicia
stravagante
allegra e triste,
a fiori rossi
e bottoncini neri,
larga,
e sotto ,il cuore.

THE SHIRT

I'm old
and young
and I have confused
yesterday with today
laughter with  pain
on the back of my hands
stained by years
and I 'm wearing
 a crazy shirt,
so cheery so sad,
with big red flowers
and black little buttons,
large,
and under, my hearth.

Alphonse Chat, LA FAMILLE GINESTIERE,

          Madame Jean GINESTIERE,
          Monsieur Bernard GINESTIERE,
          Madame  Veuve Adolphe GINESTIERE,
          Madame  MAILLARD - GINESTIERE,
          Monsieur  Pierre MAILLARD,
          Monsieur  Michel MAILLARD,
          Et toute la Famille.

Profondément  touchés  des marques de  sympathie que vous leur avez tèmoignèes dans leur douloureuse épreuve, vous en  expriment leurs plus vifs remerciements....
