A Christmas prayer
I’d like,
as a Christmas present,
Only a
little piece of time,
Full of
colours and bright
Through
which I could fly
Along the
borders of the sky
And from
there on mountains high
Through
which I could rewind
All the events
of my life
But
uniquely those blithe
From which
I could reacquire
Only a
little piece of time
Please a
little piece of time
For me and
my body entire
So that I
could mirror-eye
Myself and
my body entire
Please a
little piece of time
For me and
my body entire
So that my
actions alike
Could be
like those of that time
In which I
was young and bright
Please a
little piece of time
For me and
my body entire!
